The time necessary to get estimates and repairs completed can also complicate the need to close by a specific date. There is no question that homes in superior condition sell faster. With fewer homes selling, increasing inventory, and buyers who can afford to be choosy, paying for a home inspection prior to listing, then making the recommended repairs, may be a small price to pay to get your home sold.
