Ledyard and Gales Ferry Homes for Sale, Pending and Sold

Listing inventory in Ledyard continues to drop.  There are 90 residential homes on the market today in Ledyard,  the lowest inventory in over 2 1/2 years.  I believe this is due to a combination of forces. First, sellers who's homes were priced unrealistically have given up, and second, the number of new listings entering the market has decreased due to the upcoming holiday.Closed sales in Ledyard reached 194 this week, topping last years count of 188 closed sales in 2006.  This is a result of a number of Pfizer relocation sales we had this spring. Although that flood of buyers has reached a trickle, there continues to be Pfizer buyers relocating to Ledyard. (I successfully negotiated a sale this week in the Pheasant Run area.)There were 2 pending sales this week, both priced under $300,000.
