<p goog_docs_charindex="63">Today&nbsp;is the first day that candidates in Ledyard are allowed to post political signs.&nbsp; Traditionally in Ledyard, <strong>Republicans post red signs and Democrats post blue signs</strong> although occasionally someone gets creative and selects green.&nbsp; I really dislike the whole sign thing for three&nbsp;reasons.&nbsp;Signs are expensive,&nbsp;get stolen and litter the town for 3 weeks. </p><p goog_docs_charindex="422">Two years ago, the Republicans approached the Democrats with an idea to limit the number of signs.&nbsp;The Democrats didn't much like that idea.&nbsp; There was something mentioned about me having an unfair advantage because my real estate for sale signs are&nbsp;up year round.&nbsp;Huh?
