The Gold Star Memorial Bridge spanning Groton and New London

<IMG style="WIDTH: 393px; HEIGHT: 293px" height=293 alt="Groton New London Gold Star Memorial Bridge" hspace=0 src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1289/990451884_f43a6a02d6.jpg?v=0" width=393 align=textTop border=0> It is ironic that this photo was taken and the post written days prior to the collapse of the Interstate 35W bridge in Minnesota. <A title="The New London Day" href="http://www.theday.com/">The New London Day</A> even has a photo of the Gold Star Bridge on its cover today. But I'll stick with my original photo and post and consider it a mere coincidence. Synchronicity is too strong a word.
