| February 05, 2010 | | Eastern Connecticut Photo Friday | Thank you to Jennifer Flack who pointed me to the American Memory Collection of the Library of Commerce. The photographs from the Farm Security Administration – Office of War Information form a record of rural American life between 1935 and 1944. If you query Ledyard you’ll find a number of photographs like the ones below as well as photographs of the Crouch family. In an email to me, Jennifer reports that “Of the people in the Thanksgiving pictures, the 5 "children" are still living” including her mother.
