The Stephen Perkins House on Hurlbutt Road in Gales Ferry
This home on Hurlbutt Road in Gales Ferry Village was built in 1845 by whaling master Stephen Perkins. Over the years it has been owned by many Ledyard families. It is certainly not the largest or the most expensive home in Ledyard but it one of the prettiest especially this time of year. It would make a lovely Christmas Card.
