From Where I Sit on the Ledyard Town Council

For those stopping by my little local blog for the first time, my name is Linda Davis and I've been selling real estate in Ledyard, CT for the past 30 years. I mostly talk about Eastern CT real estate here with a close eye on the Ledyard housing market.

Real Estate is my full time job but I also find time to serve my community. I'm a member of the Ledyard Town Council and previously served as chairman of the Ledyard Board of Education.  I've mostly kept my "political" opinions off this little blog but decided to change that as I start my second term on the Town Council.  I'd like to think I can share my opinion on local subjects without getting into too much trouble or making enemies. The truth of the matter is I'm hopeful that the political posturing of the last two years is a thing of the past. There won't be another council election for two years or a mayor's race for four. That gives us plenty of time to do the job of moving Ledyard forward. I believe that is what we were elected to do.

On December 3rd at 8:00PM the 19th Ledyard Town Council will be sworn in. I promise to let you know what I'm thinking from where I sit.
