Eastern Connecticut Photo Friday

New London Harbor Light

Built in 1901, New London Harbor Light, the oldest existing lighthouse in Connecticut, is one of the earliest American lighthouses with a flashing light.  This was my first view of New London, as I arrived home on Tuesday from Long Island via the Cross Island Ferry.  The skies cooperated but I almost ran out of light. Almost.
