| September 04, 2006 | | Home listings and sales in Ledyard during the week of 8/27/06 | It was a busy week for listings with 11 new listings this week in Ledyard. Despite the 11 new listings there were 8 withdrawn or expired and 3 pending sales so inventory remains at 128, amazingly the same number as the past 3 weeks!!! While we would obviously prefer to see a shrinking inventory, a steady one is the next best thing. This holiday weekend has been very quiet for showings except for my "handyman" special on Whalehead Road for $150,000 which is bringing out investors and curiosity seekers. September and October have been traditionally strong months (much better than summer). I'm hopeful that this trend will continue!
