Connecticut First Time Homebuyers

There are lots of questions being asked about the first time homebuyer tax credit  just passed as part of the Economic Stimulus Package. I found all the answers I was looking for at The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 website. No one knows whether the credit will stimulate the economy but I suspect it could do more good nationwide than the high speed train between Las Vegas and Disneyland. 

I was really disappointed that the original proposal of up to a $15,000 tax credit for all buyers was eliminated. I think limiting the credit to just first time home buyers won't do much to help. It would seem that the economy would get an enormous boost from an improved real estate market but what would I know?  I'm still trying to figure out how solar powered golf carts are going to stimulate the economy.
