One of the most fascinating things I found as I reviewed statistics for Ledyard real estate in 2007 concerned building lots. There were only 4 building lots sold in Ledyard in 2007. These represent only those listed through the Multiple Listing Service but it is still surprising none the less. All 4 lots were multi-acre and sold from $59,900 - $99,000. In 2006 there were 15 lots sold with a median price of $105,000. This week, listing inventory remained the same as last with 91 active listings for sale in Town of Ledyard. The most disappointing news (AGAIN) is that there is only 1 pending sale to report. Pending sales in Ledyard now number only 13. There were 6 price reductions (several significant) since my last report. 3 homes closed last week.
