On to Inman Real Estate Connect

Real estate agents have many choices when deciding on which conference and seminars to attend. I keep plenty busy selling real estate in Ledyard CT and with my work on the Ledyard Town Council, so I try to carefully pick educational opportunities. Tomorrow I'm taking the train from New London to New York for Inman Real Estate Connect.  I really like the idea that the conference is attended by only 1200 or so real estate agents and mortgage professionals.  After the National Association of Realtors Convention in Las Vegas, 1200 will seem like a cozy group. 

Here's the cool part as described in their promotional material: Real Estate Connect NYC is where the leaders in real estate and mortgage come together with top technology executives to promote change and innovation within the industry. Big name speakers, topic-driven panels and practical workshops combine to provide attendees with the tools and techniques they need to compete in a rapidly changing landscape.

I think that means a lot of geeky people will be there.  I mostly like geeky people.  I am always looking for the latest tools and techniques to use in my own business and to share with other real estate professionals.  Many of my favorite real estate bloggers will be there, most of whom I've never met in person. Some of them are geeky.  Most of them are very smart.

I also have my eye on a new product being introduced which sounds mighty exciting.
