For the last 4 weeks real estate inventory has dropped in Ledyard. There are now 79 residential single family homes on the market. Closed sales in Ledyard for 2007 reached 211, a 12% increase over last year which certainly goes against the trend of much of Connecticut. There was only 1 pending sale and 1 closed sale this week. Showings remained relatively slow but hopefully will increase as we head closer to our spring market. There were 5 price reductions since my last report and they were certainly significant, averaging over $30,000!!
