The Gratitude Campaign

Saying Thank You to Our Military

About a year ago, I was at the airport in Phoenix and saw a young soldier being welcomed home by his family. When he walked by, I gave him a thumbs up and mouthed "Thank You". He gave me a smile and answered quickly, "It is my pleasure to serve". A few months ago in another airport, I shook hands with a Navy Officer who was waiting for a flight home. Not everyone is comfortable approaching a stranger so when I found this video, I knew I just had to share it.

It is especially a good reminder this time of year.
