Eastern CT Listings and Solds - July 22, 2007

There is finally some good real estate news to report, as overall listing inventory has remained steady in New London County in the past month.  Despite that good news, most towns have more than a 6 month supply of inventory while Stonington faces over a 1 year supply.

During the second quarter the median sales price in New London and Windham Counties increased by almost 2% but the number of single family homes sold decreased by over 16%. 

The following are the current number of active and sold listings by town, with last months active number in parenthesis.*

Groton - 218 (221) - 150 Sold

Stonington - 217  (217) - 102 Sold

North Stonington - 50 (52) - 31 Sold

East Lyme - 152 (160) - 129 Sold

Waterford - 131 (136) - 114 Sold

New London - 133 (125) - 74 Sold

Montville - 117 (117) - 123 Sold

Norwich - 208 (206) - 124 Sold
