In her almost 4 years as Mayor of Ledyard, Susan Mendenhall has worked hard at dressing up the dreary looking exterior of Ledyard Town Hall. A couple weeks ago, I paid a visit to the mayor's office and saw this brass eagle in a box on her office floor. It seems that the eagle had been at the public works department for about 7 years collecting dust. I think the eagle looks mighty handsome in his new home.
