Town of Ledyard Banners Make Their Debut!

Thumbs up to the Ledyard Town Council for their decision to purchase banners to announce town wide referendums. Two thumbs up for Councilor FX Williams who championed the cause. Banners were hung this week in Gales Ferry over Route 12 and in Ledyard Center over Route 117. Ledyard referendum voter participation is typically 12%. It is hoped that the prominently displayed banners will cause more people to exercise their right to vote. At least Ledyard voters shouldn't have the excuse they didn't know about it.
