Cefalu Development of Old Saybrook, CT has unveiled plans to develop a medical office complex and a pharmacy at the Route 12 site. The plans presented Wednesday night to the Ledyard Town Council revealed a conversion of the former elementary school to a 23,200 square foot Class A, state-of-the-art, medical office facility. The Gales Ferry Medical Center is slated to include an outpatient treatment clinic, a physical therapy facility, and several private medical office suites. On the currently undeveloped former ball fields along Route 12, Cefaul Developemtn has designed the site to accomodate a retail building of just under 15,000 square feet to house a pharmacy. Cefalu Development is hopeful to receive full Town and State approvals by year's end and is planning for June 2008 occupancy of the medical facility and the pharmacy. | | | |
