Local Drivers PO'd About Pumped up Prices

Route 12 Groton CT

I was driving up Route 12 in Groton yesterday and instantly found my photo for Eastern Connecticut Photo Friday. Drivers around Eastern CT are grumbling about the recent and steady rise of gas prices in the area. Here's the good news. I did a quick check on Gas Buddy and Connecticut does NOT have the highest prices in the nation. Several states including California top Connecticut for that distinction. If you want to buy the cheapest gas in the country, drive to New Jersey. Of course, you'll need plenty of gas to get there.
