Home Showings Increase in Eastern CT

Groton New London area homes for sale see big jump in activity

While the number of active listings, pending sales and closed sales is one indicator of real estate market trends, sometimes those statistics don’t tell the whole story.   The number of showings can also be an indication of current market conditions. I can only speak for my own inventory, but showings are up significantly on area listings from just a month ago.  We use an online tool called homefeedback.com to track showings and receive feedback. This tool is telling us that showings are up on most listings regardless of price range.  The price ranges between $300,000 - $400,000 seem to be especially active which may be due to the arrival of Pfizer relocation clients to Groton. Spring is always the best time to sell a home and this spring is proving to be no exception! I am almost ready to describe our market as a balanced market.  Not yet, but maybe soon.
