This morning, I passed Alice's Acres Farm Market, as I do every morning on my one mile drive to work. I've been watching the construction going on for several weeks now - the foundation, the framing and now the roof. I stopped to take a photo for this blog and as I was leaving, Farmer Pete was arriving. Last summer, when I was there buying corn, Farmer Pete shared the blueprint of his new ice cream stand. I'm not sure which one of us was more excited! Today, I had the opportunity to ask, for the first time, the name of the new venture. Cones & Cows is the name and I can't think of a name more perfect. I'm always happy to see a new businees in town and I do my best to support local businesses. Supporting Cones & Cows is going to be really easy! YUM!
