Ledyard Real Estate Update

October home sales in Ledyard continued the same slow pace as September with only 13 homes closed during the month.  There are currently 21 homes pending.  Inventory now stands at 133 active listings, a slight improvement over last month primarily due to withdrawn and expired listings.  On a monthly basis, about 1 home is sold for every 2 new listings.

Buyers are “looking” but still taking their time to choose from a large inventory of homes in Ledyard and other area towns.   Web activity remains very good with plenty of buyers registering for our automatic updates.  Most are indicating they will make a decision within 3-6 months.
