Real Estate in The Good Old Days

Selling Eastern CT Real Estate Back in the 70's

Besides my blogging here at the Eastern CT Real Estate Blog, I'm an active participant at the real estate "social network" Active Rain. I mostly blog at Active Rain for the benefit of my real estate colleagues. It is a great place to meet other agents interested in marketing, technology, and networking. This week Active Rain held their very first "blog carnival". A blog carnival is an event that gives bloggers an opportunity to contribute their favorite blogs. (The carnival is usually centered around a particular theme.) I submitted a blog called "The Good Old Days," a blog about selling Real Estate 30 years ago. I'm delighted to report my blog was the winner in the Off Topic/Humor catagory! I've now had over 50 comments on that blog - my personal best!

When I hear complaints about current market conditions here in Eastern CT, I just need to think back to 17% interest rates and realize that things are not so bad after all.
