Eastern CT Listings Outnumber Sales 2:1.

September report sites rising home inventory

According to the Eastern Connecticut Realtors Information Service, inventory on September 30th reached 5,405, up from the previous high in August of 5,255. 645 new listings entered the market in September and reported sales numbered 309, the lowest number since February. There could be some lean months ahead as we enter what is traditionally the slowest time of the year.

What is selling? Of the 95 pending sales in the past 10 days, 74 of them were under $350,000. Waterford had the highest number of residential home sales with 10, while Ledyard and Montville claimed only one pending sale each.
