5,255! OH MY!

Number of homes for sale in Eastern CT reaches new heights

On August 31st, there were 5,255 active listings through the Eastern CT Multiple Listing Service. On August 31st, one year ago, that number was 3,534. The number of listings has increased 67% in the past year. On a monthly basis, about 1 home is sold for every 2 new listings. This is not good news for sellers. You know where I'm heading next. Condition and Pricing are CRITICAL. Buyers are not willing to "settle" for second best. They don't have to.
