Typical Home Buyer in the Northeast

40% of Home Buyers are purchasing for the first time

RE/MAX of New England conducted regional consumer research. Here is what they found: The typical home buyer in the Northeast is Age 39, married and from a two-income household with a median income of $72,400 40% of home buyers are purchasing for the first time and are an average age of 32. 10% of first home buyers are under the age of 25, 50% are between 25-35. Their average income is $54,500.
