Lake of Isles Golf Course

Today I played in the Eastern CT Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament at Lake of Isles in North Stonington.  Last year we played the South Course and today we played the North Course.  It is quite spectacular the way the course curves its way up hills and around corners and over wooden bridges.  Some of the views from the tee boxes are really extraordinary and very different from most courses.   I found myself reaching for my camera a couple times.  And although the rolling terrain and the island greens are a bit daunting, it really is a wonderful experience playing at Lake of Isles. Play either course if you get the opportunity!
